Call For A Consultation

We want to make sure your needs are clearly understood and satisfied. Our consultation will offer the opportunity to ask questions and better understand your requirements. Together, we will conduct a walk-through of your property, discuss the level of detail you wish to include in your inventory catalog, estimate the time needed to complete the inventory, and create a personalized quote based on your specific needs. 

*A $50 fee applies and is credited toward your inventory service

Schedule Your Appointment

Within 24 hours of our consultation, a personalized quote will be provided. With your approval, we will schedule an appointment to complete your inventory. At the time of your appointment, a 50% deposit will be collected. The balance will be due when your completed inventory catalog is provided. 

Preparing for your Inventory

Consider that we will be photographing and video recording your residence.  It should present as you would want others to see it.  A clean and orderly environment aids in the inventory process as well, allowing it to be completed in less time.

The Inventory Process

Your presence is required during the inventory. Please prepare to be available or have a designee on site. We will go through your residence, room by room, recording the critical  details of your assets and capturing high-resolution, detailed digital images. 

We will create a walkthrough video capturing furnishings, decorations, window treatments, etc.  Additionally, we will take a walk around video of the exterior of your home. 

If your goal is to record home improvements and additions, we will ensure the work is clearly and thoroughly documented.

Accessibility of Pertinent Information 

Risk Ready will not remove items from their location to access serial numbers or make and model information.  If your inventory includes desktop computers, computer peripherals, home theater components, or televisions, there are ways to capture what is needed for an inventory without that information.  Detailed digital images and video recording can be accompanied by receipts, extended warranties, or other documentation that further proves ownership and can identify the items being inventoried.  

If you choose, you are welcome to move items to provide access to serial information as the need arises during the inventory.

After the Inventory

Using the information gathered at your home, a comprehensive catalog will be compiled. There may be follow-up needed if you require time to locate appraisals or documents pertaining to an inventoried item. Once the catalog is prepared, you will be provided with a USB thumb drive containing a PDF inventory catalog, complete with images and accompanying video.  Additionally, you will be sent an invoice for your remaining balance.

For a nominal annual fee, your documents can be retained on our in-office server. This will allow us to adjust your inventory as assets are obtained or are no longer in your possession. Please note that if you do not elect for Risk Ready to host a backup of your catalog, we will be unable to make adjustments when required. 

If needed, we are happy to provide a copy to your insurance company or legal representative/counsel.  No information will ever be shared without your written consent.
